The HVAC Startup/Warranty Department consists of a small but elite group of HVAC technicians responsible for not only starting all HVAC equipment that B&I Contractors installs, but also warranties for mechanical failures during the first year.
Our technicians must be able to troubleshoot and repair an extremely wide variety of equipment such as exhaust fans, VAV boxes, frequency drives, chillers (both air and water cooled), cooling towers, pumps, duct heaters, split systems, glycol managers, boilers, electrical starters, and dehumidifiers, to name just a few.
In addition, our technicians are responsible for ensuring our sub-contractors work is correct and operational. We work very closely with controls and test and balance to bring the jobs in to the satisfaction of both our General Contractor as well as the owner.
