A short list of some of the department’s daily activities
- Filling orders
- Checking outgoing & incoming shipments for accuracy
- Preparing mailing labels & shipping documents
- Packing and palletizing
- Weighing packages & calculating shipping costs
- Recording package information
- Routing incoming shipments to the proper departments
- Transporting shipments to & from the warehouse in addition to transporting to job sites.
We work with the best computerized systems to maintain records of stock flow, inventory, as well as shipping issues with carriers such as UPS and FED-EX. Tool procurement and maintenance supporting our field personnel. This also entails research on the newest most innovative tools available to increase productivity.
Our department is also responsible for warehouse-grounds and facilities maintenance for our Fort Myers Office and fabrication facility.
