Jeffrey Zenoniani P.E., Senior Project Manager for B & I Contractors, Inc. has earned his certification as a LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC's LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings, providing building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings' performance. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) are those industry experts who have demonstrated their knowledge of the LEED Rating Systems through successful completion of certification testing. LEED APs have the knowledge and expertise to facilitate the integrated design process and streamline LEED certification for their projects.
Jeffrey Zenoniani earned his LEED AP certification after participating in the University of Florida TREEO center study group in St. Pete Beach. Along with this certification, Jeff's industry involvement includes his memberships in ASHRAE, and National Fire Protection Association. He has been with B & I since 1995 and manages a team of five project managers. "We can now expand on our environmental practices and services offered, begin to formalize our efforts with the appropriate documentation and capitalize on environmental efficiencies."
