Two AO Smith propane-fired water heaters will keep the 250-gallon storage tanks filled with hot water. The expansion tank (to the left of the storage tanks) allows for thermal expansion of water in the piping system.
The thermostatic mixing valve regulates the temperature of the hot water in the piping system. Circulating pumps and aquastats help ensure that hot water is readily available at all faucets and fixtures.

This shower rough-in includes the on-off-volume control valve, and a diverter valve to alternate between the wall-mounted showerhead and the hand-held shower spray.
