B & I Contractors, Inc., is an employee-owned company. In 1986, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) was established and the ESOP now owns 95% of the corporate stock. The primary purpose of the ESOP is to enable our employees to share in the growth and prosperity of the company and to provide participants with an opportunity to accumulate capital for their retirement needs.
